Being from south KC, It is not often I am able to visit one of my favorite coffee shops. I have loved Hammerhand Coffee since the beginning and loved their old location on the Square. ⁣

If you have never visited Hammerhand and enjoyed their coffees, you are missing out! ⁣
⁣
Stop in their Liberty location, or pick up their coffee at PH coffee in KCMO.⁣

It's Sunday afternoon in kc, and getting a coffee and some work done before the Chiefs Game tonight. ⁣⁣

Stopped at Thou Mayest River Quay. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
First up was getting their Seasonal Blueberry Lemon Espresso Tonic. The syrup adds a citrus complement to the Espresso and finishes very well with the sparkly end thanks to the Tonic. ⁣⁣

Then to finish off the afternoon, a drip coffee of Wild Child, the lightest of their roast offerings. ⁣⁣

Thou Mayest is a Coffee Shop and Bar Combo! ⁣
With hours from 7-9 during the week and 7-11 during the weekends, this is a great place to get a drink of coffee in the AM, and your selection of cocktails and beers on draft in the PM. ⁣

Thou Mayest River Quay sits in the former Quay Coffee space, from which it gets its namesake. Quay Coffee opened back in 2012 in this location and was a cherished shop for many years.

The Leawood Roasterie location is always a classic, just as the Brookside or factory!

Taking over from Foxtrot Studio, is Garden House. With the same great coffee from Meta Coffee, comes the tasty blend of plants and coffee.

If you love plants, this is another great place to stop in!

Stopped in to Grounded Sole Coffeehouse in Argentine Neighborhood of KCK a couple days ago, and this was my first time in!⁣

Had a Iced Americano on a hot day with their coffee coming from The Roasterie.⁣

A great cafe space with plenty of space to stop in an sit, meet with friends, and a place to get some work done if thats your thing. ⁣

With a couple of spaces even outside for sitting, those will be delightful with the fall weather just around the corner!⁣

Featuring their newest coffee, a Blackberry infused carbonic maceration fermentation. ⁣

Blackberries were added in the fermentation process to add sweetness and flavor to this Colombian coffee.

I Visited Frost Coffee & Tea! ⁣

Located in downtown Lee’s Summit, Frost gets its name from the former Jack Frost donuts that used to be housed in this location many decades prior. ⁣

Opening in November, I’m a little delayed at visiting, but I’m happy I finally got the chance!⁣
⁣
With a menu featuring many options from coffee, tea, food and non coffee items I'm sure suit your tastes and preferences! ⁣

I tried a variety of their different options and I loved their coffee and tea, including the seasonal Nitro Strawberry Fields iced tea, and the Lavender Berry Latte. ⁣

With coffee from Copper Canyon in Springfield, they have great coffee from Espresso to Filter coffee! (And for the most important coffee lovers, they offer a Chemex pourover when it’s not super busy)⁣

Frost has a bigger selection of Teas than most other cafes in the area, so if you’re a tea lover, go check out their selection!

Stop in and visit this spacious and inviting cafe and see what all the buzz is about in downtown LS!

Picked up a coffee this afternoon in the Plaza with a stop at Messenger on Jefferson. ⁣

Opening in 2021, Messenger opened two cafes in place of the original Kaldi’s locations. ⁣
Living strong to the name, you can get great coffee from both the shops! ⁣

A Brazil pour over from Pilgrim Coffee was a delicious experience. ⁣
⁣
In this coffee; I tasted some dark cacao, sour apple, and what I would describe as a burnt caramel and with a smooth finish. A very delightful coffee!
